Repentance is to feel sorry for and error or sin etc.; to feel regret for an action or intention etc.
One of my favorite verses in the Bible is 2 Chronicles 7:14 which says (and I’m paraphrasing) If you would just stop sinning, come to me and say that you are sorry and mean it, I would heal all the pain and sickness in your lives.
I know many who are going through a horrible time but we often forget about repenting for what we have done wrong. I know an older woman who was a cut up in her younger years while her children were growing up, now her life is miserable because her kids are doing the same thing that she did and worse and the grand children are suffering. She tries to help them but it is too much for her. She never thought that things would turn out that way. She prays and prays to no avail yet.
However, according to Jer 1:12 and Proverbs 8:17, if we would form our prayers using the word and seek Him early in the morning, then we would more than likely get them answered. However, there are sins in our lives that stop us from getting our prayers answered unless we repent.
I was praying for one of my daughters last week and the Lord told me to repent for something that I did while she was growing up. I did repent that very second He said it and my prayer concerning her was answered, but I didn’t know until the next week when I spoke to her.
A few weeks or so ago while watching It’s Supernatural by Sid Roth, a Jew that had been converted to Christianity has a very interesting guest. He has a weekly show that interviews Christians that operate in Supernatural Miracles.
The guest was named Robert Henderson and his revelation was on the Courtroom of Heaven. One of his stories was that His son who was in his twenties married and worked as a youth Minister. However, his wife no longer wanted to be a part of that ministry nor did she want to continue to be married so she divorced him and moved away with their child. The Son went into depression and nothing Robert could say or do, as a father and minister himself would bring the boy out of his depression. After two years Robert was crying out to God and then He heard the voice of God say, “Bring your son to the
Courtroom of Heaven.” He said that he had heard a little about it so He began to do just that. He said Father; I bring my son ________ to the courtroom of Heaven. To make a long story short, God told him to repent for his son because the son was not able to repent for himself right now, so he did that and repent for everything that he thought that his son may have done wrong in the marriage, for listening to the lies of the enemy and whatever else he could think of. Then the Lord told him to repent as his father for all the negative things that he said about his son, because the Enemy was in Courtroom of Heaven accusing the son of all the negative things that he (the father) was saying about him (Even his father says that he is this and that). Is he not the accuser of the Brethren? Robert said that he had said these things to his wife about the son but never to his son. Then the Lord told him to bless his son, so he said things like “Wake up O’sleeper, rise from the dead and Christ will shine on you”. He also said many things that He knew that God and already distained the son to be. Lastly, God told him to rebuke the spirit of depression, Of course in Jesus Name. He said that all that took him about 20 minutes. A week and a half later his son called to talk to him. He said that He didn’t know what happened but all of a sudden last week the depression just lifted off of him. So two years of praying replaced with 20 minutes did the job. Now, Robert has my attention, so I began watching his YouTube videos everything that he had on the subject. I was amazed to find out that the enemy even used our ancestry or generational past to accuse us as well.
Then I found out that you can clean your generational bloodline and miracles happen.
Robert then begin to tell a story about how his finances and savings always seemed to be taken away, so while at a prophetic meeting he was getting prayed for and was told that one of his ancestries stole land from an Indians tribe years ago and they found him and burned him alive. While he was being burned, he spewed curses out at them. Years later the Indians didn’t know why the land was not producing until they were told the story. After Robert repented for his ancestor who stole the land, he said about a week later He received a call and has now recovered all the finances that he lost and then some.
Again, I am a show me kind of girl, so I said the prayers with Robert’s occasional traveling
Partner, Natasha Grbich who wrote the book “Repentance: Cleansing your generational bloodline. One week later I received a call from someone who wanted to license a portion mind you, of the patent that I filed but not even finished yet. He said that he wanted to make it into a Multi Million dollar business. I’m not sure that I’m going to take this offer but things are opening up after cleansing my bloodline. So, who or what is in your bloodline?
Repentance is very important to God therefore, it should be important to us.
Until next time.
